The Big Buck Contest is something we take pride in here at the Kane Fish and Game Club. As any of our many participants would tell you, this annual contest has gone on for many years now, and each one seems to be more exciting than the last. Every year it is celebrated with many participants who show off their buck while having a hamburger and hot dog meal.
Judges vote and ultimately decide on winners in six different categories. The Mr. Big Buck prize is the most prestigious. Accompanying it is the Most Perfect Rack Award, Jr. Mr. Big Buck Award, Judges Choice Award, Most Points Award, and Heaviest Buck Award.
Below are the results of the most recent contest that was held on November 26th.
Scott Goldthwaite – Heaviest Buck, weighing 159 lbs.
Ethan Fehrman – Jr. Mr. Big Buck, scored 119.47 
Ken Kane – Judges Choice, scored 136.20 
Most Points – Steve Timpano, 10 points 
Paul Drost – Most Perfect Rack, 10 points
